Since the last newsletter we have has some exciting news regarding some recent successes with the new releases. The first was the 2017 Riversdale Estate Pinot Noir which received the following:

1. Champion Wine of the Show
2. Best Pinot Noir Trophy
3. Best Dry Red Trophy
This news was fantastic as it follows up the 2016's 95-point rating, consistency is something we want from the Estate label as it is a true representation of the current vintage. The particular day we harvested the pinot was a 13 hour by Ian, Rainier and Alain Rousseau. We harvested over 38 tonnes of fruit from several different blocks. The award was well received by the whole team indeed! Come and try it in the cellar door with Rainier! RRP $39.00
At the Australian Shiraz Challenge our 2017 Riversdale Estate Syrah also won Gold and a Trophy for best Tasmanian Shiraz. This was fantastic news as the '17 is slightly oaked that provides framework for the lengthy pepper flavours – something which is different to interstate shiraz. At Riversdale we have the largest planting of the variety in Tasmania and make a current vintage style, reserve style and upcoming Sparkling Shiraz which will be fantastic and a first for Tasmania! RRP $40.00
At the recent Canberra National Riesling Challenge, we also received two Silver medals for our 2018 Riversdale Estate Riesling and 2014 Riversdale Estate Botrytis Riesling which is also fantastic news! RRP $32.00 + $39.00
