Riversdale Estate has a number of Wedding Reception Locations (only 20 mins drive near Hobart, Tasmania) that can cater for small & larger groups



The Orangery - Up to 55 Guests - $4,000 Hire Fee

The Orangery is a unique room that takes inspiration from European interiors and décor lit by two large chandeliers. The room provides an intimate feel for smaller weddings of up to 55 guests with a structured floorplan that best suits square tables and straight lines. The alternating High Tea cushioned seats would be used in this room.

The Restaurant - Up to 130 Guests - $4,000 Hire Fee

Inspired by French interiors & lit by numerous chandeliers this versatile area provides a large floorplan that is able to cater for up 130 guests on large round tables with tiffany chairs, often these larger weddings choose to conveniently use the Orangery for a dance floor. Weddings of under 100 guests are able to fit a dance floor & other areas within this room too. Both square & large round tables are available & the bridal table has the option of using the cushioned Orangery seats.

The Winery - Up to 45 Guests - $5,000 Hire Fee

For those looking for a unique wedding reception in a sophisticated setting then our winery 'Celestia' is it. The main room overlooks the winery through floor to ceiling windows whilst there still remains other areas of use including the two underground caves & barrel hall. Expect polished stainless steel, copper, oak, concrete & brushed metal in this facility that best reflects Riversdale's exceptional Estate.

Cellar Door - Up to 45 Guests - $4,000 Hire Fee

The Cellar Door has long been the room where our degustation dinners are held. Paneled walls coupled with various marble benchtops & a fireplace make this room as elegant as it is casual. A large bespoke wooden table underpins the structure of the room that can seat up to 26 guests whilst casual receptions can seat up to 35 guests with standing area too. The Roberts family often describe this room as the heart of the Estate.

Marquee & Sandstone - Up to 170 Guests - $4,000 Hire Fee

For both large and small weddings in a formal and casual capacity, the outdoor sandstone & marquee areas provide the greatest connection to the exquisite panoramic views of the Estate & Pittwater. The large flat 400m2 grass area is conveniently placed adjacent to the sandstone and various walkways allowing easy access for bridal cars and foot traffic. Riversdale can supply large round tables, square tables & tiffany chairs for up to 170 people. Salter's Hire are the preferred installation experts.

There are local power supplies however we recommend hiring a generator for supplying the marquee lighting & power, this can be placed up to 90 meters away with no sound pollution.
