Like its red sibling Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris thrives on our family estate in Tasmania's Coal River Valley. The site's cool climate growing conditions are ideally suited to this classic European variety, with extended summer sunlight hours and cool nights creating full-flavoured Pinot Gris that is typically found in France's renowned Alsace wine region. This wine's palate is rich and generous, with flavours in the ripe/stewed apple and pear fruit spectrum. The finish is soft and round, with a touch of residual sugar adding weight. Enjoy now with spicy Asian and mild curry dishes.
